Team Bio
Bruce Haney originally broke into motor sports as a motocross rider, but as soon as he discovered monster trucks in the 80’s, he knew he had to make a change. After spending most of his free time pursuing a monster truck career, he and his wife, Jami, decided it was time to leave his successful job at a Ford dealership and commit to Monster Jam full time. They bought the old Excalibur monster truck and converted it into Bad News Travels Fast, and now spend most of the year racing and freestyling against the best drivers in the world.

One of Bruce’s most memorable moments as a monster truck driver is when he was given the opportunity to meet a child that was blind and show him the truck. Bruce went over every aspect of the truck, and got the child to use his hands to feel everything in the driver's compartment so that he could absorb the look and feel of the truck through his other senses. That moment escalated Bruce's ability to affect other people's lives in special way.

Like many of the other Monster Jam® drivers, Bruce goes above and beyond for his fans. This winning attitude translates onto the dirt showing that it takes more than just speed and skill to be a monster truck driver.
